Inspections & Testing

As a manufacturer of rigging systems, we have the in-depth knowledge required to efficiently undertake the periodic inspections of all types of rigging systems and equipment. Rigging systems also have specific maintenance requirements to ensure the continued safety of the systems and to maximise the service life of all components.

Records must be kept for all periodic inspections, to assist you to meet your obligations, we submit an inspection certificate and full written report outlining the extent of the inspection, including details of any remedial works required.

Stage Mark Limited has the systems, the specialist knowledge, the tools, and the international training direct from manufacturers to inspect, service, and dynamically load test your motor chain hoists.

Several manufacturers require their hoists to be subjected to an annual dynamic load test.  This requirement has also been introdcued into the ANSI E1.6-2 - 2018 standard. The traditional testing technique of a spring balance on the load chain is not a dynamic load test of the hoist. To ensure we can efficiently fulfil these load testing requirements, and to minimise downtime and costs for you, Stage Mark Ltd designed a specialist portable motor chain hoist test bed that we bring to you.

As with your other rigging systems, to assist with your record keeping obligations, we submit an inspection certificate and a full inspection report for each chain hoist.
